What We Make

Premium knitwear,
built to a standard, and everything around it

Primeknits is built around fine-gauge and heavyweight knit, the categories our founding family has produced since the 1980s. Below is the full envelope of what our partner network makes, and the processes we apply to get it there.

Read it two ways. Capabilities is how we make it. Categories is what we make. Most buyers need both.

A sourcing partner

One network, two ways to read it

No single factory does all of this under one roof, and any buying house that implies otherwise is overstating. What follows is the combined production envelope of our partner network across the Lahore, Faisalabad, Karachi and Sialkot clusters, matched order by order to the facility that genuinely holds the capability.

Capabilities

How we make it: the construction programmes, prints, washes, dyes, trims and quality oversight.

Categories

What we make: the garment categories a merchandiser self-routes by, led by premium knitwear.

Part One: How We Make It

Manufacturing capabilities

The combined production envelope of our partner network. We match each order to the facility that holds the capability, the certification and the capacity for it, and we tell you which one and why.

Premium textured-cotton crewneck in sage

01

Premium Knitwear & Textured Cotton

Fine-gauge knit is where the house started and where our judgement is sharpest. We run the full gauge range across the network, typically 3GG, 5GG, 7GG and 12GG, up to 16GG for fine-gauge work, with whole-garment capability on selected programmes, and we hold construction consistency across seasons, which is the part most brands struggle to get from Pakistan.

Includes

Fine-gauge sweaters · ribbed knit tops · cable-knit pullovers · cardigans · turtlenecks · waffle & thermal long-sleeves · knit bombers · structured knit jackets · co-ord knit sets.

Heavyweight oversized cotton tee

02

Heavyweight Cotton Blanks & Fleece

Our heavyweight programme covers the weights the elevated-basics and streetwear market actually asks for: 7.5oz, 11oz, 14oz and 15oz, in 16-single and 20-single 100% cotton constructions. Oversized box and drop-shoulder silhouettes, PFD blanks, garment-dye and pigment-dye programmes, and enzyme and vintage wash menus are all standard. Handfeel and weight hold from sample through bulk.

Includes

Oversized & boxy tees · drop-shoulder tees · long-sleeve heavyweight tees · crewnecks · pullover & zip hoodies · sweatpants · joggers · oversized shorts · PFD / garment-dyed / pigment-dyed / vintage-washed blanks.

Range of printed and embellished garments

03

Printing & Embellishment

Surface work is matched to the fabric and the order, not applied as a single house default. We run photographic DTG through to heavy hand-feel screen programmes, and a full embroidery and applied-trim menu for branded and graphic-led ranges.

Includes

DTG · screen · water-based · plastisol · puff · foil · discharge · suede · glow & high-density print · chenille embroidery · tackle twill · appliqué · woven / leather patches · 3D puff embroidery.

Spectrum of washed garment colours

04

Wash, Dye & Colour Development

Colour is developed to your Pantone reference and confirmed on the actual fabric before bulk, because a colour that is right on a swatch and wrong on a garment is a return waiting to happen. We carry a broad wash and dye menu and a PFD route for brands that want to control colour late in the cycle.

Includes

Garment / pigment / reactive dye · acid · enzyme · vintage · mineral & sun-faded washes · overdye · custom Pantone matching · camo & leopard programmes. Colour world: washed black, clay, forest, faded navy, stone grey, bone cream.

Primeknits-branded trims, hardware and finishing

05

Trims, Hardware & Finishing

Trims are where a garment quietly reads as premium or reads as cheap, so we treat them as a development item in their own right rather than a last-minute substitution. Branded hardware, custom labelling and considered packaging are available across the range.

Includes

Premium & two-way zippers · metal pulls · snap / horn / corozo-style buttons · flat, round & waxed drawcords with metal aglets · rib cuffs & collars · woven / satin / care / leather labels · hang tags · rubber & silicone badges · finished packaging.

Leather and outerwear jacket typology

06

Leather, Outerwear & Transitional Jackets

A transitional and outerwear capability for brands extending beyond knit, run through facilities that specialise in structured construction and hardware rather than treated as a knit-factory side-line.

Includes

Leather jackets & bombers · suede jackets · varsity & leather-sleeve varsity · leather overshirts · knit bombers · cotton-canvas jackets · shackets · quilted linings · premium hardware.

Colour swatch and approval cards

07

Quality, Documentation & Production Oversight

This is the capability that separates a buying house from an agent. We inspect against the approved sample at cutting, sewing, finishing and packing, not only at final, and you receive written reports with photographic evidence at each stage. Final shipment proceeds only after you sign off on the inspection report.

Includes

Fabric inspection · measurement checking · in-line & final AQL inspection · trims approval · swatch & sample cards · packing & carton checks · full documentation and a photo-evidence workflow.

Audited, Not Assumed

Compliance & certifications

We place orders only with facilities assessed against internationally recognised frameworks, and map facility selection to your market from day one. Holding a certificate is a starting point, not a guarantee. We verify status with issuing bodies and run our own assessment alongside the audit document.

OEKO-TEX
ISO 9001:2015 logo
ISO 14001

OEKO-TEX includes Standard 100 and STeP across mills and dye-houses. GOTS applies where the entire production chain meets the standard, not only cut-and-sew. SMETA reports are accessible on the SEDEX platform.
